Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services

Slick provides branding, website design, and web development services, primarily built on WordPress, utilising Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and custom-built themes to offer scalable and easy-to-maintain solutions.

2. Quotations & Payment Terms

  • Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Work commences only upon written acceptance of the quote and receipt of a 50% upfront payment, which includes a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the total quoted amount.
  • The remaining 50% is due upon project completion.
  • All invoices must be settled within 15 calendar days of issue.
  • Late payments exceeding 14 days may result in service suspension or incur a late fee.
  • Any additional work beyond the scope of the initial quote will be subject to separate charges.

By accepting a quote from Slick, you agree to these terms.

3. Third-Party Costs & Licensing

  • Stock images, premium fonts, plugins, and third-party assets are not included in standard project quotes unless explicitly stated.
  • If such assets are required, clients may:
    • Provide their own licensed assets, OR
    • Approve and purchase assets directly, OR
    • Request Slick to acquire assets on their behalf, with the cost added to the final invoice.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to use any materials provided for their project.

4. Project Timelines & Client Responsibilities

To maintain project efficiency, clients are expected to:

  • Provide all necessary content, assets, and approvals in a timely manner.
  • Respond to feedback requests and project updates within the agreed timeframe.
  • Adhere to scheduled milestones and deadlines as outlined in the project agreement.

Delays caused by failure to provide required materials may result in project rescheduling or additional charges.

5. Revisions & Scope Adjustments

  • Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds, as outlined in the initial quote.
  • Revisions beyond the agreed scope or major structural/design changes may be subject to additional charges.
  • Any significant modifications must be discussed and approved before implementation.

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

  • Upon final payment, full rights to the completed design and development work are transferred to the client.
  • Slick retains the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio and marketing materials.
  • Third-party assets (e.g., licensed images, fonts) remain subject to their respective license agreements.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • If a project is canceled after initiation, the 10% deposit is non-refundable.
  • Work completed up to the point of cancellation will be invoiced accordingly.
  • In the event of non-communication or project abandonment by the client, Slick reserves the right to terminate the project and bill for completed work.

8. Warranty & Post-Launch Support

  • Slick provides 14 days of post-launch support to address any issues related to our development.
  • Additional support, ongoing maintenance, or feature enhancements are available upon request and may require a separate agreement.

Slick reserves the right to update these terms as necessary. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the latest terms.
